About Us

the Stallworth Strong Foundation

The Stallworth Strong Foundation’s (SSF) primary mission is to provide merit-based scholarships to deserving student athletes from Southern Nevada, who wish to continue their college football career, with a special consideration given to those who want to play at UNLV.
The inaugural Stallworth Strong Scholarship will be presented in June 2025 as part of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Criteria must include the desire to continue playing college football at a high level. Athletes must display pride and passion for Southern Nevada. Athletes must also demonstrate the traits that embodies the Stallworth Strong values of Leadership, Hard Work, Commitment to Excellence, and doing the right thing always – especially when no one is watching.
The Stallworth Strong Scholarship will be determined by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee (Las Vegas Chapter of the National Football Foundation) and awarded by the Head Football Coach of UNLV at the annual Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame induction Ceremony. The SSF is independently operated by its Board of Directors as a non-profit (501c-3) organization. All donations are tax deductible, as allowed by IRS guidelines.

I am also blessed to boast the fact that I am a member of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, the UNLV Athletics Hall of Fame, and a cancer survivor.
